A Slice of Pure Americana
There are activities, sports and hobbies that have their origins in the American popular culture.
Every decade produces them, such as the Yo Yo craze of the 1920, surfing in the 50’s, skateboarding in the 70’s or snowboarding of the 80’s.
They come and go, rise and fall in popularity but never seem to go away, and while the Roller Skating never become an Olympic sport there is a thriving Women’s Roller Derby league today, almost 100 years after the game was invented.
I think we can all agree that some of the most iconic slices of Americana are fused with this sport/hobby.
We were extremely happy to encounter this phenomena with The Bees Knees Roller Skate of Springfield MO.
The store features an assortment of the iconic 4 wheel skates and all the necessary accessories a Roller could want.
For their Roller Skates display, they chose our Tube Outrigger system with Soloslats, which created a wall of skates for the stores shoppers.
The display is inviting and engages the shopper to view the product and “Kick the tires”.
And for their Shelves and clothing they went with our versatile and customer friendly Vertik system, with extremely pleasing results.
